Message: Hi
Saw you guys recently in Cambridge, absolutely awesome and a true tribute to the real thing! I was there in the day🙂
Sounded like the real thing, stage presence of the real thing and you got the feeling of the songs spot on. Best track on the nights, Ghosts, I’d nearly forgot how good it is.
Keep the faith, see in in 2025💕

Message: If you ain’t been to see them yet, get yer arse along to see them! Well worth the money!! Frighteningly good. For those of you who never got to see The Jam, these guys are as close as your gonna get. I’ve utmost respect for any band that tributes The Jam, but ABCM sit head and shoulders above the rest. True masters of their craft!! Attention to detail is admirable! Saw them in Edinburgh last year and I’m still buzzin!! Guitar work is genius, bass is on par with Foxton, drummer is easily as good (dare I say) better than Buckler, vocals and harmonies are near pitch perfect and the raw explosive energy is disciplined and controlled. Well worth the money!!!! Here’s the link - (8) Big thanks to Scott Phillips for the... - A Band Called Malice | Facebook

Clare Maclennan…..Totally agree, I'll be back next you are in Glasgow

Col Palmer…..I've been to see most Jam tribute bands around, and I too must say that ABCM are by far the best .Just wish I could get to see them more.Great bunch of lads who I've got to know over the years.New manager seems to be pointing em in the right direction.Keep it up guys your the Best.Drummers a bit dodgy

Karen Pike…..Seen 6 times so far this year, 6 more to go. Saw FTJ many times before ABCM. Once you’ve experienced A Band Called Malice energy there’s no going back.

Richard Evans…..Seeing them in Bristol next weekend. Third time in as many months. Totally agree with the post if you haven't seen them yet you are missing out on probably the best band around. Trust me you close your eyes and you will think you're actually listening to Weller and Co. Can't wait for Friday at the O2. Just keep doing what you're doing guys

Nic Geddes…..I will 2nd that they piss all over FTJ

Lorraine Farrell…..I feel as if I co-wrote it

Pete Gallagher…..Brilliant band

Lorraine Dyson…..Agreed! I was too young to see The Jam live (my Mum wouldn't let me go). But these guys are as close as I could possibly get to the real thing. They are totally awesome!

Kieran Bukowski…..Totally agree with Scott's comments. I was lucky enough to see the jam many times when they first started. Watching ABCM takes me back all them years and I thank them for allowing me to relive that time through there excellent shows. There are amazing and well worth going to see again and again

Darren Smith…..Not quite as close as FTJ they’ve got Bruce. But you’s are a very close second

Andy Nic…..Can't disagree with a single word. Far and away the best Jam tribute band around.

Kenneth Cook…..Absolutely 100% agree

Chris Parr…..Completely agree.

Message: From the opening chords of Girl on the Phone on Friday to the dying echoes of Slowdown on Saturday night A Band Called Malice yet again turned in tremendous sets at The Half Moon in Putney. Their delivery, enthusiasm and raw energy simply set the house ablaze. With renditions of so many personal favourites including Strange Town, Modern World, Little Boy Soldiers, Art School, Mr Clean, etc. it made for a great two evenings and whenever they launch into When You’re Young for me over 40 years just melt away and I’m back down the front as a teenager newly pitched up in London in the late 1970’s! - before heading Down in the Tube station at Midnight. Thanks for yet another couple of brilliant nights and the opportunity to hear such great music being kept alive. Cheers. Chris.

Message: Fantastic gig tonight in Aberdare lads…fire and skill personified! Great setlist covering all the big hits but also the lesser known songs that true Jam fans really appreciate. Also, you are all great, approachable people…I talked to Chris the bassist during the break and asked him if they were going to play my favourite song of all time, It’s Too Bad, he said they weren’t tonight but when they came back onstage they fitted it in for me….I was delighted, they were fantastic… great night, thanks lads! A++++++

Message: Hi Andy

WOW.. Friday night at the ‘BrickMakers’ Norwich was FANTASTIC..!!

This is the first time we have seen you, definitely not the last.

I have been lucky enough to have seen Paul Weller several times, From The Jam many times and recently The Jam’d.

I was blown away by all your performances.. the energy, the attitude, the sound, your individual performances.. I imagine reminiscent  of being at actual Jam gig back in the day..!!

Unfortunately, I was just too young to have seen them live, I was 13 in ’82.

You even managed to squeeze in a few of my requests, thank you. Funeral Pyre as well..!! (don’t often see that)

Thanks again and see you again soon..!!

Thanks

Name: James A 5/6/22

Message: I saw the band at the Limelight in Aylesbury last night. It was the third time that I have seen them: once before at the Limelight and once in the Water Rats. Last night's performance was far and away the best. The band were clearly enjoying themselves, engaging with the audience really well and putting on a really enjoyable show. It was good that they did not just slavishly try to emulate the exact originals of the songs, but put their own interpretation on some of them. Overall, it was an excellent evening, with just one complaint: it was over too quickly.

Name: Neil Aves

Message: 4/6/22 - Aylesbury Queens Arts Centre

I've seen these guys 8 times now so I know what to expect. Not my favourite venue because of the tiered seating but it's local and the acoustics are pretty good and actually when you're sitting down you get to admire the skills and musicianship of the guys.

So what do you get? Unlike many tribute bands it's not just the hits, you get a set list including the B sides, (remember when they were a thing!) and lesser known album tracks so every gig is different and they'll even take requests if you have a favourite. Even with a 20 minute break they played for nigh on two hours and worked the room, building up a rapport with the audience so that despite the seats there was a great atmosphere and at least everyone was standing up for the encore.

So yeah, a great, high energy evening, well worth the ticket money and a strong recommendation not to hesitate and get down to a BCM gig as soon as they're local to you

Message: Wow, just wow guys! Last night was awesome at Derby 15/04/22. Blown away by the energy you put in it was electrifying and a 2 hour set! We (the crowd) were well and truly entertained. I never saw the Jam live so I can only imagine last night to be what all their gigs were like and why they had such a following and connection with the youth of that era with their angst and energy, the anthemic bass and drums that gets you bouncing, well I was. Will look forward to seeing you again soon 👍
